Returns or exchanges are accepted within 7 days of purchase in unworn condition.  Custom orders and personalized orders are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Online orders: please contact us for a return on an online order before sending the item. Shipping costs are non-refundable and customer pays for return shipping costs.



We will ship an in-stock item within 1-3 days of receiving your order on our regular business days from Tue-Sat.
Made to order items or articles with an sku starting with “MSR” are special order items and can take up to 3 weeks to ship out. Should you order an items that is out-of-stock or special order, we will contact you with estimated shipping dates, back-order options or a refund.

Gems of La Costa, including their employees accepts no responsibility for the condition or identification of items upon receipt. Items are submitted for repair only and this store will not act as an insurer of the items listed. Should no value be listed it will be assumed the value is less than $100.

Gems of La Costa Gemstone Liability Policy

I am aware that there is risk of damage to gemstones & jewelry when handled, repaired, set, polished and/or cut including, but not limited to fracturing, and/or chipping as a result of gemstone impurities, problems with pre-existing mountings or other labor. I therefore assume all risks associated with the repair of my jewelry, handling , polishing , and/or cutting of gemstones that I provided to Gems of La Costa and will hold Gems of La Costa, its officers and employees harmless from all liability, action, and/or claims which may arise out of or in connection with Gems of La Costa’s repair, setting, polishing,and/or cutting of such gemstones and jewelry.

Gems of La Costa Watch Warranty Policy

Gems of La Costa warranties the internal parts installed and services that we perform on watches that we repair for 1 year. Our warranty does not cover the exterior of your watch or physical damage to the watch or damage due to water and moisture inside of the watch. Water resisitance and pressure testing should not be viewd as a warranty but rather peace of mind for the wearer while using your timepiece in potentially damaging environments. Most Watch Repairs Take 2 to 4 Weeks and Sometimes Longer.

Gems of La Costa Sales Policy

Gems of La Costa will accept returns of regular stock items in new condition for refund or exchange when accompanied by receipt within 7 days of purchase. Restocking fees may apply. Custom designs and special orders are not returnable.

Limited Lifetime Diamond Replacement Warranty

Gems of La Costa takes pride in the quality and workmanship of our jewelry. Every piece sold by Gems of La Costa Jewelers comes with a limited lifetime diamond replacement warranty. The warranty applies only to diamonds originally supplied and set by Gems of La Costa, and does not cover stones provided by customer. This warranty does not cover any damage resulting from accident, alteration. abuse, misuse, disaster, disassembly, or unauthorized repair that will effectively void our Diamond Replacement Warranty. In order to qualify for this warranty jewelry must be inspected and cleaned every six months by Gems of La Costa. Regular maintenance and repair must be conducted as recommended in order to maintain warranty status . Please contact Gems of La Costa Jewelers for specific detail of this limited warranty as well as any specific conditions or restriction that may affect your rights to this warranty.
